Scenarios
A Scenario is a sequence of events in a specific Space that can vary based on individual choices. In StellarX, Scenarios are designed with immersive skill-building in mind, aiming to help users learn and develop both hard and soft skills.
To create your very own scenario, you will need to use the Canvas and the Nodes.
The Canvas
The Canvas is a virtual workspace for designing immersive experiences. By connecting Nodes, creators can animate static assets, and develop complex scenarios for users to enjoy.
A Canvas can hold multiple scenarios. However, to keep things organized, it's best to separate each scenario into its own Canvas.
Adding a Canvas to a Space
- Open the Collections (via your Control Panel or XR watch).
- Open the Scripting Assets section.
- Drag-and-drop the Canvas into your Space.
Once the Canvas has been added to your Space, simply Remix it to access all features.

Remixing the Canvas
- Point your laser at the Canvas.
- Spot the Quick actions menu on the dominant hand controller (right hand as default).
- Select Remix using the controller’s joystick.
Canvas Features
Canvas Features
The Canvas provides several tools to create, organize, and modify Nodes and their connections.

Selection Tool
The Selection Tool allows creators to select Nodes, connect them, and modify their properties.
Move Tool
The Move Tool allows creators to pan around the Canvas without selecting or modifying Nodes.
Select the Move Tool from the Canvas toolbar, then drag to navigate across the Canvas.
Multi-Selection Tool
The Multi-Selection Tool allows creators to select and manipulate multiple Nodes simultaneously.
Once multiple Nodes are selected, the following actions can be performed:
- Move: Move all selected Nodes together.
- Clone: Duplicate selected Nodes while preserving their relative positions and connections.
- Delete: Remove multiple selected Nodes.
- Undo/Redo: Undo or redo actions performed on the selected Nodes.
Zooming and Panning
Panning
Use the Move Tool to navigate around the Canvas without modifying Nodes.
Zooming
Place your thumb on the controller joystick to display the radial menu.
- Zoom In (+): Get a closer view of your scenario.
- Zoom Out (−): View a larger portion of your scenario.
Cloning Nodes
The Clone Tool allows creators to duplicate Nodes in the Canvas.
When using Multi-Selection, all selected Nodes are cloned together, including the connections between them.
Deleting Nodes
The Delete Tool allows creators to remove Nodes and their connections.
When using Multi-Selection, multiple Nodes can be deleted simultaneously.
Undo and Redo
The Undo and Redo tools allow creators to reverse or restore actions performed in the Canvas, including changes made using Multi-Selection.
Minigraphs
Minigraphs help creators organize their Canvas by grouping Nodes into smaller sections.
Minigraph Color Presets
Creators can assign one of eight preset colors to a Minigraph using its color settings.
Existing Minigraphs retain their previously assigned colors.
Minigraph Error Indicators
Minigraphs display a pulsing red indicator when errors, such as faulty Nodes or infinite loops, are detected in Preview Mode.
The pulsing stops once all errors within the Minigraph are resolved.
