How to move around in StellarX ?

Here are all the locomotion and navigation basics that will help you move around StellarX Spaces with total ease.

Controller Layout

Teleport

Navigate StellarX Spaces quickly with the teleport feature. It allows you to move instantly from one spot to another, without physically walking.

How to teleport:

1. Place your thumb on the joystick, and push forward. A glowing white circle will appear in the distance to indicate where you will teleport.
2. Move your controller around to point at your desired teleportation point.
3. Release the joystick to teleport. 

Some areas can’t be teleported to.

An arrow will appear inside the white circle to indicate that teleportation is possible. If the arrow is not visible, it means that teleportation to the highlighted area is not possible.   

Push & Pull (Create Mode Only)

Push & Pull is another way to move around inside StellarX. This feature allows you to move forward or backwards by pushing and pulling yourself with your controller.

1. Press and hold the controller grip buttons
2. Use a pushing or pulling motion to move around in any direction.

Pulling =  Moves you forward 

Pushing = Moves you backwards 

Rotate

Place your thumb on the controllers joystick, and push it to the side. Pushing to the right will cause you to rotate to the right; the same goes for the left. Exactly 12 pushes are needed to rotate a full 360 degrees.

Move Backwards

1. Place your thumb on the controller joystick 
2. Pull the joystick 

Each pull will make you go backwards. 

Note:  If you find yourself in a position where teleporting is not possible, backing away can likely get you out of there!
