New Features
We are excited to share with you two new additions to StellarX this month. The all new User Management System and open access to our Masterclass.
User Management System (UMS)
You asked and we heard. For those of you using StellarX in your organization or with a team, we have a fully integrated User Management System (UMS). The UMS makes it possible to manage personal and organizational workspaces, manage organizational account permissions, assign roles, and access shared assets. This will make collaboration in teams a lot easier, while increasing the security of your Spaces. Full how-tos for each feature in the UMS can be found below. The UMS is available to Studio licenses and above
Note: Each person can belong to one or several organizations while maintaining their own Personal Workspace for individual projects.
With UMS, we have introduced two types of members. Paid Seat Members and Free Seat Members, each with their own capabilities:
Paid Members have full editing rights — they can create, edit, and save organization spaces, upload assets, and manage scenarios.
Free Members have limited access — they can join and play existing scenarios but cannot create or modify spaces or use editing tools.
While member-type dictates what someone can do in StellarX, roles dictate the control permissions someone has over the organizational account. With this release, we have introduced three role types:
Owners: Full control over the organization, including managing users, roles, and resources.
Admins: Can manage users (except owners) and resources, but cannot delete the organization.
Members: Free seat members have no access to the org dashboard or members section, while paid seat members can view the dashboard but cannot edit members or roles.
Inside StellarX
Changing Workspaces
After signing in, users can enter their Personal Account or one of their Organization Workspaces.
Each workspace is isolated, with its own assets, spaces, and permissions, ensuring a clear separation between personal and organizational content.
You can switch between accounts from the settings panel without logging out.
Logout Panel
A new Logout Panel has been added to the Settings section of Basecamp.
From this menu, users can:
Log out to and return to the log in dashboard
Quit StellarX directly from the same panel
Restricted Space Messaging
When a user who downloads or opens an organization-owned space without being a member of that organization, a restricted access message is displayed,

After logging in with their personal account, users can access a Workspace Selector within the settings section.
From there, they can switch between their Personal Account and any Organization they belong to.

Member Management (Admin Access)
Owners and Admins gain access to the Members section within the Organization page.
This section allows you to:
Invite new users to the organization
Manage roles and permissions
Assign or revoke Paid Seats
Monitor user activity and seat usage
New Masterclass Access
Previously exclusive to Studio licenses, the Masterclass content is now available to all users, offering expert tutorials that teach you StellarX, best practices in creating VR experiences, and more.
In addition to the videos, users can now download dedicated Masterclass resources, including:

Example spaces to follow along Masterclass tutorials
Find the Masterclass in the new Learn panel in the Web Portal.
Improvements
Basecamp
UI – Disabled Buttons
Disabled buttons in Basecamp now display greyed-out text to match the new design guidelines.
Bug Fixes
VR Controls in Sign-In Menu – Resolved a bug where players could unintentionally move by pressing the left-hand trigger while in the sign-in menu in VR.
Preview mode - Fixed a bug where players were not spawned at the newly added Start Point position in Preview mode until the space was saved and reopened.
Spatial Anchor Creation – Fixed an issue where the Spatial Anchor asset was not created when activating the feature on Android devices.
Multiplayer – Resolved an issue in multiplayer sessions where the OnFinish flow from a Play Media node linked to a Media Panel did not consistently trigger the next node for other players.
Multiplayer – Fixed an issue where assets using a Snap node combined with a Transform node were not properly synchronized across users, causing inconsistent assets positioning in multiplayer sessions.
Multiplayer – Adjusted the disconnection delay to allow a longer period before timing out from the server, improving stability for users with temporary network interruptions
