StellarX is a code-free platform, so the StellarX designers spent some time thinking about how to best let creators easily set up parts of their scenarios for tracking and analytics to be sent to learning instructors. With the Learning Analytics feature, we’ve made this ability visual by allowing creators to choose which user interaction will be tracked directly from the existing visual scripting tool.
To choose which user interactions are sending statements to the instructor, the creator will need to track existing node inside the Canvas using the track/untrack option.
While Node Tracking enables you to track individual interactions setup via the nodes radial menu in your Canvas, Record Score Nodes allow you to record an individual’s success through a whole Scenario.
We are introducing the Record Score node to be used to send Pass/Fail statements along with other scoring methods to the LRS.
Node Tracking: Sends statements only when a specified node is engaged (i.e. User interacted with the circuit breaker knob).
Record Score Node: Always tracked node in a scenario to send a final scoring statement to the LRS.
